St. George Musical Theater: SGMT, as it is commonly known, is a local theater company with local performing artists. Their productions run June to December every year, and they also offer summer camps for aspiring youth performers.
Dixie State Celebrity Concert Series: This concert series offers everything from barbershop quartets to ballroom dancing, to acrobats! There seems to be no limit to the range of talent that can be enjoyed and celebrated during throughout the concert season, which runs year round.
St. George Art Museum: Located downtown at the north end of Main Street, the St. George Art Museum boasts beautiful desert scape paintings and sculptures done by local artists, as well as all types of genres and mediums. This building, formerly a sugar-beet storage facility, offers free family art projects, a gift shop, and even book clubs and various fundraising opportunities.
Utah Shakespearean Festival: Entrada is less than an hour away from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, the home of the Utah Shakespearean Festival. The Utah Shakespearean Festival presents life-affirming classic and contemporary plays in repertory, with Shakespeare as a cornerstone. These plays are enhanced by interactive festival experiences which entertain, enrich, and educate. The Festival is committed to excellence through diversity. The season runs each year, June through October.
Electric Theater: The Electric Theater, located in the historic district of St. George on Tabernacle Street, is the hub of local and traveling talent. The perfect intermixture of diversity and variety, the Electric Theater offers anything from stand-up comedy to the showing of old movie classics. While you wait for the show to start you can peruse the local art in the attached art museum, sometimes mingling with the artists themselves!
Tuacahn Amphitheatre: Entrada is fortunate to have a premier outdoor Amphitheatre just two minutes away tucked into the red cliffs of Snow Canyon State Park. Tuacahn Center for the Arts stages professional Broadway-style musicals from May through September, headliner music, and dance & comedy concerts in spring and fall.
