Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club (the "Club") - a private club for members - is a member-owned equity country club located within the Entrada at Snow Canyon gated community. The Club provides members and their guests with privileges to use Golf, Sports and Fitness Center and the Clubhouse amenities. 


Who is eligible to acquire memberships in Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club?
Membership is exclusively offered to owners of property in the Entrada at Snow Canyon community. However, as of October 27, 2014 a limited number (30) of memberships called Invitational Callable Regular Equity Memberships became available to non-Entrada property owners.

Current properties of Entrada include all phases of Kachina Springs (South, North, East, Kachina Cliffs), The Escapes, The Vista's, Paiute Springs, Chaco Bench, Chaco West, Lava Cove, Lava Falls, Anasazi Hills, Anasazi Ridge, The Reserve, Toroweap, Shinava Ridge, the Inn at Entrada and The Cliffs of Snow Canyon (collectively know as "Entrada Property").

What types of membership are offered at Enntrada at Snow Canyon Country Club?
Regular Equity Membership

  • Regular Equity Memberships have unlimited golf, unlimited access to sports and fitness center, unlimited use of the Clubhouse, invitations to all social and golf tournament events.
  • Regular Equity Memberships require the purchase of a lot or home within the Entrada Property.
  • Regular Equity Memberships are equitable, voting and transferable.

Limited Golf Equity Membership

  • Limited Golf Equity Memberships have unlimited golf play from April 1 to September 30; golf play is restricted from October 1 to March 31 to six rounds per spouse per month.
  • Limited Golf Equity Memberships have unlimited access to sports and fitness center, unlimited use of Clubhouse, invitations to all social and golf tournament events (subject to above; six round limitation from October 1 to March 31).
  • Limited Golf Equity Memberships require the purchase of a lot or home within the Entrada Property.
  • Limited Golf Equity Memberships are equitable, voting, transferable and convertible into Regular Equity Membership.
  • Limited Golf Equity Memberships are only available from the Club's For Sale list of member-owned memberships. No new Limited Golf Equity Memberships are currently being sold.

Invitational Callable Regular Equity Membership (Invitational Equity")

  • Invitational Equity Memberships have unlimited golf, unlimited access to sports and fitness center, unlimited use of Clubhouse, invitations to all social and golf tournament events.
  • Invitational Equity Memberships do not require the purchase of a lot or home with the Entrada Property.
  • Invitational Equity Memberships are equitable, voting, transferable, callable after seven years and convertible. 

Social Membership

  • Social Memberships are entitled to seven rounds of golf per spouse per year with applicable green fees.
  • Social Memberships have unlimited access to sports and fitness center, unlimited use of Clubhouse, invitations to all social events.
  • Social Memberships require the purchase of a lot or home in The Cliffs of Snow Canyon.
  • Social Memberships are non-equity, non-transferable and terminate when the member no longer owns a lot or home within the Entrada Property or resign the membership.

Associate Membership

  • Associate Memberships have unlimited access to sports and fitness center, unlimited use of Clubhouse, invitations to all social events.
  • Associate Memberships are required with the purchase of a lot or home within the Entrada Property. Not available to property owners within The Cliffs of Snow Canyon.
  • Associate Memberships are non-equity and are required for a Entrada Property owners (except The Cliffs of Snow Canyon) if not an equity member.

Junior Membership

  • Junior Memberships are for sons or daughters (or their spouses) of a Regular Equity Member, Limited Golf Equity Member, Fractional Equity Member or Invitational Callable Regular Equity Member who are at least 21 and no older than 40.
  • Junior Memberships have unlimited access to sports and fitness center, unlimited use of Clubhouse, invitations to all social and golf tournament events and the same rights to play as the parent has.
  • Junior Memberships are convertible upon purchase of a lot or home within the Entrada Property.
  • Junior Memberships are non-equity memberships and thus have no voting rights, and are non-transferable. 

What are the current Membership initiation fees, dues and minimums?

Regular Equity

  • $5,000 initiation fee + $8,000 assessment. Contact the membership office for current pricing.
  • Current monthly dues of $754 (may be billed annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly)
  • $175/quarter or $800/annual food minimum.

Invitational Equity

  • $5,000 initiation fee + $8,000 assessment. Contact the membership office for current pricing.
  • Current monthly dues of $754 (may be billed annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly)
  • $175/quarter or $800/ annual food minimum. 

Junior

  • $7,000 initiation fee
  • Current monthly dues of $401.51 (may be billed annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly)
  • $400/ annual food minimum

Social

  • $3,000 initiation fee
  • Current monthly dues of $173.60 (may be billed annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly)
  • $175/quarter or $800/ annual food minimum.

Associate

  • No initiation fee required for this membership.
  • Required with Entrada Property purchase (Not available to property owners within The Cliffs of Snow Canyon)
  • Current monthly dues of $160.82
  • $175/quarter or $800/ annual food minimum.

What is an Invitational Callable Regular Equity Membership?

  • An Invitational Callable Regular Equity Membership is one that may be called at the sole discretion of the Club Board of Trustees (the "Board") at any time after the expiration of seven (7) years from the date of the original issuance of the membership.
  • Currently the call price is 70% of the sales price of the Invitational Callable or Regular Equity Membership last sold prior to the date of payment of the call price. 

How is the Invitational and Limited Golf Equity Membership convertible?

  • Upon meeting eligibility requirements of Entrada Property ownership, an Invitational Equity Membership will then be converted to a Regular Equity Membership.
  • A Limited Equity Golf Membership may be converted to a Regular Equity Membership at any time upon payment to the Club of the difference between the then current initiation fee for a Limited Equity Golf Membership and the then current initiation fee for a Limited Equity Golf Membership and the then current initiation fee for a Regular Equity Membership.

How can I sell or transfer my Equity Membership?

  • Generally, Equity Memberships may be sold and transferred only through the Club, subject to the "For Sale" list.
  • However, a seller of his or her Entrada Property may convey his or her Equity Membership to the buyer of such property concurrently with the property sale subject to the approval of the transfer by the Board.
  • All sales and transfers of Equity Memberships are subject to a transfer fee, currently set at 30% of the initiation fee then established by the Board for the class of membership sold.
  • However, a Membership can be transferred to a qualifying immediate family member one time without a transfer fee.

What are the voting privileges of Equity Members?

  • Each Equity Membership, whether held by one or two persons, shall be entitled to one (1) vote upon each matter submitted to a vote at a meeting of Equity Members.

Are members of my family entitles to use my membership privileges?

  • Members may allow accompanied and unaccompanied guests to use the Club facilities in accordance with the Club rules and upon payment of any applicable guest fees and charges.
  • Member guest play on the golf course is limited to not more than twelve (12) times per year per guest; six times during peak season and six times during off-peak season. (In season is October 1 -  March 31, Out of season is April 1 - September 30).
  • All membership types will receive twenty (20) Free Fitness Center Guest Passes which will be issued annually and can be used for either Sponsored or Accompanied guests. Once the free passes are used, only "Direct Family" guests will be allowed as Sponsored guests. There are no restrictions on the number of Accompanied Guests a member may have. Free guest passes are not transferable. A "Family Guest" rate is equal to a 50% discount off the accompanied guest rate shall be established for direct family members who are an accompanied or sponsored (unaccompanied) guest. "Direct Family" is defined as grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren and the spouses of said family members. The family guest rate does not apply to uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc...
  • Currently guest use of the Grille is unlimited; however, if unaccompanied, the guest must first be pre-authorized by the sponsoring member. The Board reserves the right to restrict unaccompanied guest use of the Grille.

How many Equity Memberships will be sold?

  • According to Club Bylaws, the Board has set a maximum of 400 Equity Memberships in the Club. An Equity Membership is defined as all Regular Equity, Invitational Equity and Limited Golf Equity Members. However, a Limited Golf Equity Membership shall be counted as one-third (33-1/3%) of a Regular Equity Membership for the purpose of determining the membership capacity. 

Is the Golf course available to anyone other than members ?

  • On October 1, 2006, the Club became a private Club for its members. Unaccompanied guests and Accompanied guests of members, and guests staying at the Inn at Entrada are welcome to play the golf course. The Club will also host charity golf events from time to time and may allow reciprocal play from approved Clubs. 

If I sell my Entrada property, what happens to my membership?

  • If you sell your property at Entrada and you are an Equity Member (Regular or Limited), your Equity Membership immediately become callable. Until called, you may retain your membership and continue to enjoy full privileges, provided you remain a member in good standing and continue to pay monthly dues and food minimums as required.
  • If you sell your property at Entrada and you are a Social or Associate Member, you are no longer eligible for membership. Social and Associate Memberships are non-transferable ; therefore, the membership is forfeited when you sell your Entrada Property. Members are still responsible for all outstanding bills and charges, up to the date the membership is terminated. 

What happens if I want to sell my membership or I want to resign?

  • Equity Members may only sell their memberships through the Club. Any member desiring to sell his or her membership must notify the Club in writing that their membership is for sale. Equity Memberships are sold on the "for sale " list in the order received. One membership will be repurchased from the top of the "for sale" list only after two previously un-issued memberships of the same classification have been sold by the Club. A transfer fee of 30% of the initiation fee as established by the Board for the same class of memberships at the time of sale will apply to the re-purchase of the resigned membership. (The resigned member thus receives 70% of the amount of the most recently sold membership of the same classification).
  • Social Memberships held by property owners within The Cliffs of Snow Canyon may be terminated at any time upon written notification to the Club of resignation of the membership. Members will be responsible for all dues and charges up to the date of termination of the Social Membership.
  • Associate Members are not allowed to resign. As long as they are Entrada Property owners, they must maintain their membership.

Who oversees the day-to-day operations of the Club?

  • The Club has retained Troon Golf, USA ("Troon") who works in conjunction with the Entrada Board of Trustees.
